Ritalin Fraud“The growth of Ritalin research in the 1970s and 80s was headed by Dr. Stephen Bruning [sic], psychologist at the University of Pittsburgh. But in 1988, he was charged with, and subsequently pleaded guilty to, falsifying his research. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail, five years probation and fined about $11,000.
